Telecom's acquisition of a local operator cleared after a Phase II investigation
Following an in-depth merger investigation launched back in March, the Serbian NCA has unconditionally cleared the acquisition of Telemark Systems, a local cable operator by the Serbian telecom incumbent - Telecom Serbia. For all relevant markets the NCA defined the relevant geographic market as national and found the combination would not harm competition.

A concentration in the soft drinks market cleared
The Bosnian NCA has cleared a transaction whereby the companies Vitinka a.d. Zvornik and Sinovi i oci d.o.o. Banja Luka are acquiring control over Vitaminka a.d. Banja Luka. The concentration is taking place in the market for the production and supply of soft drinks in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During July, the North Macedonian NCA announced the receipt of three new merger notifications:
- United Media S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) - I.R.V. Investicije, Razvoj in Vodenje, d.o.o. (Slovenia);
- Telemach d.o.o. (Slovenia) - Skyline Cable d.o.o. (Slovenia);
- Telemach d.o.o. (Slovenia) - EVJ Elektroprom d.o.o. (Slovenia).
