NCA publishes model compliance program

Serbia's competition watchdog, the Commission for Protection of Competition, has published a model compliance program. According to the NCA, the model aims to be a starting point for undertakings interested in having a compliance program and contains suggestions about the elements the program should include. The model builds up on the guidelines for the drafting of compliance programs, published by the NCA earlier.

New head of competition authority appointed

The Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country's competition watchdog, has a new head - Mr. Nebojša Popić. He was appointed to that role by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of 1 June 2022. According to Bosnian competition legislation, the Council of Ministers each year appoints the competition watchdog's head, who is in charge of coordinating the work of the authority during his tenure.
