The Serbian NCA has published its guidelines on competition compliance programs. The NCA noted that competition infringements are often a result of a lack of understanding or knowledge of undertakings, and the guidelines are to assist undertaking in adopting their individual compliance programs.

Subsidies to producer of parts for car industry cleared

Serbia's state aid authority, the Commission for State Aid Control, has cleared state support to Serbian company United Alloy-Tech Europe doo, for a planned plant for producing parts for the car industry. The recipient, who is part of Minth Group, is set to receive approx. EUR 6.4 million from the Serbian state.

Montenegrin Competition Act amended
The Montenegrin parliament has amended the country's main piece of competition legislation - the Law on Protection of Competition of 2012. The amendments relate to the organization of the country's competition authority, the Agency for Protection of Competition, including the procedure for appointing the head of the authority.

The Bosnian NCA has cleared a transaction whereby Asecco SEE d.o.o. (Bosnia and Herzegovina) is acquiring control over another Bosnian company, BS Telecom Solution d.o.o. The relevant market was for computer programming in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
